SES light

Will driving around i got the SES ligh on the dash, and now everytime i use the car the light apears about 5 minutes after startup. How can i figure out what is causing the light to come on, such as the error codes it gives out.

What year is your LT1? From the mods list, at least it appears to be an LT1. 93 you can flash the codes on the SES light by shorting a couple of ALDL pins. On the 94 and newer models, you need a "real" scanner.... OBD-I for the 94 and 95s, OBD-II for the 96 and 97's. Some shops (e.g. AutoZone) will scan the OBD-II cars for free.

Its really important to include the year of your car, to be sure you get the right answer.

I had a problem similar to this about a year ago, check the fuse under the hood for the air pump. About 5 min after start up the car should be shifting into closed loop and finally listening to the O2 sensors. Just a sugestion. If I remember correctly the fuse was on the left (drivers) side of the engine bay, yellow I think.
