Sensors from a c4 to a 94 Z?

I broke my oil pressure sensor pulling my motor like so may have before, and I’m buying an OEM one off of eBay but it’s a sensor off of a 89-96 c4. I’m assuming the one with the LT1 cause it mentions it mounts in the rear of the intake manifold. Will this work?

The Corvette uses a three wire, three blade sender, provides a signal to the dash gauge, and closing a switch in a circuit that parallels the fuel pump relay. The F-Body is a single wire connection. Not sure if the sender is different, or if they used the same sender, but only used a single wire for the gauge connection.

Why are you buying from eBay….. a brand new, genuine AC Delco with the correct part number isn’t that expensive?

If I’m being honest I don’t have the part number, I must’ve thrown away or just lost the broken one. Looking now, on summit and everywhere else I still can’t find it. So I was looking on eBay cause I figured a fully original one in good working order would be the way to go, especially if it saves me $30. But like I said I cant find the part number.

Based on Shoebox's parts list, that number was used on the 93 and early 94 engines located above the oil filter. The list shows a different part # for the sensor located at the back of the block/intake manifold - late 94 thru 97.

1993, 1994 (1st design) oil pressure sensor
AC-Delco # same
Location- side of the block above the oil filter 19244511 old 24575127

1994 (2nd design)-1997 oil pressure sensor
AC-Delco # same
Location- behind intake manifold on engine block
19244497 old 10201491

Couple sources I looked at indicate the OEM part 19244497 is discontinued or unavailable.

Well that’s no good, if I can’t get that part then what do you recommend I do? Are there any other reputable brands for sensors that might have an oil pressure sensor for it? I know there’s a lot of Chinese BS out there. Had to buy 3 coolant temp sensors once.

A local auto parts store, somewhere where it’s easy to return defective parts. I just hate eBay and Amazon parts. Or these guys seem reliable:

Or try a local salvage yard. The same part was also used in 3rd Gens.

Or maybe a more vigorous search for an updated AC Delco part #. This was used in a lot of cars. I checked Summit Racing, but “search” wasn’t cooperative.
