When i bought the car i bypassed the td relay by jumping wires because it wouldn't start, since then the car would start but the light was on the entire time like yours. I had keys made without the peg and it would start like normal, even when the right key is with the peg the light was on. so i bypassed that all with a resistor. if you do both i would assume it will be fine like mine

long story short, I bypassed the peg of the key with a resistor, they i bypassed the whole system by jumping the td relay.
works now.

id like to fix mine the correct way...man i wish this was a racecar but its not...

long story short the security lights on all the time...i checked the resistance at the plug under the column its the same as the key...then i unplugged the tdr and turned the key on and the security light still comes on(which by the manual means its a short) BUT aftre that i plugged back in the relay then unplugged the connector under the dash, and the car still starts runs and drives??? im thinkin the module has gone crazy?

well you have to think of it this way, is having that peg in the key as a security feature worth the headache and money of replacing the tdmodule and or the sensor in the stearing colum. Imo no so i bypassed it all.
