Screwdrivers?

I bought a Z28 (1996) on Saturday and have noticed that a couple of bulbs need to be replaced. The manual says unscrew the lens but the screw head does not look like a standard cross head (posidrive/Phillips) or hex head (Allen Key). So what type of tool do I need to buy?

I know this is trivial but for a non-American with a Camaro it is a steep learning curve from a very basic starting place.

Re: Screwdrivers?

it's called Torx

pretty handy screw casue its harder to strip.

you can usually get all the needed sizes in one of those interchangable magnetic tip screw drivers. or just buy a pack of 4 or 5 drivers and most of the sizes will be there.

Re: Screwdrivers?

Just buy a cheap T-15 torx screwdriver and keep it in you glove box. I don't know about England, but most auto supply stores in the US have them for changing bulbs.

Hey, Fred, I wonder if Harbor Freight is international? Might be, since all their stuff is imported, lol. (just not imported from England )
