I've been using it for two years now and swear it's given my SS more HP.

horsepower tv has a episode where they tested it on a 2002 camaro ss and it added i think 9 horsepower to the wheels. they did change the oil, trans, and differential fluid with royal purple fluids but its no lie

Is your car a daily driver? If so, Royal Purple may be a little pricey to use, especially if it doesn't provide much benefit over a Mobil 1 synthetic.

"but its no lie"

since when is everything you see on TV....particularly Horsepower TV....gospel truth.

you don't suppose they show slightly exagerated gains because their show is payed for by sponsors.

hmmm

and they found gains, but what they didn't tell you was how many miles were on the old fluids. how do you know you couldn't get almost the same results by just changing the fluids to a more economical brand?

if they wanted to prove anything they would have changed the fluid to conventional or a competitors fluid and tested it. then swapped in the RP...

but i'm sure they still would have yielded a gain....it's all advertising.

REMEMBER they reccomend using a hypercrap hand held to tune your car!!!

my buddy works for a distributor and I BELIEVE I may be able to get it for cost.

If so, is everybody down to pitch in and get a pallet? haha

My Z has merely 13,000 on it. I BARELY treat it like a daily driver in the summertime. NEVER in winter. It's a car. It's meant to be driven. Too many people overlook that.

I run it in my sled and I hot lap the **** out of it and NEVER had a problem.

We also have a 50 foot houseboat w/ twin 454's in it and we switched to RP in both motors and picked up 3-5 GPH (Gallons Per Hour) over any other oil we tried. So I guess your right,it doesnt work .

I'm sure it works fine, it is a waste of $$$ as many cheaper oils work just as fine. It's your money and my opinion.

I've seen my car and many others pick up 5-10 hp between dyno pulls. This is with NO changes.
