route wires through firewall

I know I can go under the pcm, but I want to go through the driver's side. Does anyone know how to remove the "junction box" where the bulk of wires go through the firewall on the DS?

Is there another, easier way? It's for my shift light.

Thanks.

The whole connector unclips from the inside, then just push it out into the engine bay. Don't take it apart, just move the entire thing. I snaked a wire through there for my kill switch, then just shoved the connector back in. It pinched the wire a little, but still worked. It was a 12 guage wire I think.

Thanks. I think I may have broken the black tab that was hidden on the topside, but it's not a big deal. I can't see the seal being ultra important right there anyway.

I drilled a hole behind the brake booster. It can be drilled from the inside of the car.

I saw that on a previous post. I had the drill out and everything when the wires finally popped free.
