Right Hand Drive?

I was just wondering if GM ever made a right hand drive Camaro for export?

I highly doubt it was factory.

There were Camaro exports which consisted of different tail lights, side mirrors and emblems, but I do not think they were right hand drive.

RHD Camaro's & Firebirds etc

.. no . .GM never did officially make any.. but there were a few converted and transported back to the US for study purposes.. particularly I recall serveral 89-92 era Corvettes and a couple of similiar era Cadillac's being converted by a small dedicated company in Sydney Australia under contract to GM.. and flown back to the US. From what I knew of they were housed in a warehouse in Kentucky for the feasibility to continue.... as it did..a decade or so later for Cadillac at least... These were GM owned vehicles. Probably crushed like many other in time.
There are hundreds of RHD F bodies in Australia.. going back to some VERY VERY VERY VERY rare 1st gen Firebirds and Camaro's, mostly now living again in the USA.
If you want to see the link to a small GM show held yesterday in Sydney.. go here.. http://www.carsofaustralia.com.au/
Hope thats of some interest.

The LS1 version was officially sold over here in the UK for a while at Vauxhall dealerships and all examples were left hand drive.
It makes overtaking more interesting.

Thanks for the great info, there are a lot of good pics on that site. Anyone here have some interior pics of one of these cars?

Yea, that's what a right hand drive car would be like in the US. I think it would be sweet to have one of these cars, you would have a hard time finding a car more unique.
