The spare tire and jack is one of the easiest ways to start weight reduction. I deleted mine for good as that compartment is now the new home for my 15 pound nitrous bottle.

Every little bit of weight out of there helps! Should be one of the first things you do along with free mods.

Tomorrow I will be doing a TB Bypass and remove my spare and jack then I'm going back to the track maybe it will shave a tenth or two tenths off my time.

Well, doesn't seem like it's worth the trouble to me. Whenever I've had to call AAA, I have to wait around for AT LEAST 30 minutes. Usually it's like 45-1 hour. I could have my spare on there and be on my way in like 10 minutes or less.

Think about how much weight it actually reduces.....and to me, it's just not worth it.

I usually only drive my car very local, so if something like that did happen, I would just make a call to a family member or friend and have them swing it over to me. Otherwise, I would just call AAA. If I ever go on a long road trip in the car, I will toss it in the backseat for peace of mind.

Not worth the trouble IMO...and keep it full for when you might need it.
