Removing Badges

I want to remove the fender badges. What works best
to remove them and the adhesive while leaving the paint
undamaged.

A hair dryer, razor blade, and some goo gone always has worked for me.

Hair dryer, Fishing line, and goo gone.

The fishing line cannot damage paint as the razor blade can.

Razors work great on glass, not so great on paint.

+1 for fishing line.

Yup, and Yup, I just removed a sticker on my back glass and a razor blade work great but I would never try it on paint

Removed all my 2002 SS badging and replaced with the full 1969 metal badging. Use a hair dryer for several minute. Use fingenail, pry up a end and pull off. No problem.

Then use Rubber Seal RS 529 Super Solv (get from body shop, not sold across counter). Spray on the goop left behind and rub gently off.

Peace out

Thanks for the info.

Dental floss or fishing line sounds good I"m not steady enough for razor blades.
I figure getting rid of the Z28 badges along with my super quiet exhaust will put me in stealth mode. I live in a relativly smalll town and there are no less than 4 black on red 4th gen Z28's running around. At least one of these clones has a real squirrel inside. I have gotten tired of the scrutiny of the local constablary and constant challenges to race by every import with a wing on the back. Hopefully the V6 look and new exhaust will let me blend, at least till I open the cutout.

Goo Gone works pretty good for the scraps of tape that get left over from it taking the badges off. Just don't count on the ricer challenges to stop. All they see is Camaro, i don't think most of them are smart enough to know the difference.
