Angry Removing 2 piece cowl grill for 4th gen?

Is there a way to remove the drivers side grill without taking both entire wiper arms off? The passengers side is easy. I got a junkyard replacement the other day for my busted up plastic I have now. I've tried resting the arms in different positions (12 o'clock, 10 o'clock) and that was no good. Any help would be great.
