Recommended brand of tranny cooler?

I have a 24,000 GVW B&M Supercooler on my car. But my buddy found a few others that seemed decent and were a little more reasonable in price. The local Advanced auto has some specials on them right now. They have a class D cooler(rated for motor homes and stuff) for around $40 bucks that he is interested in, also a Hayden Performance cooler for around $50 bucks. Does it really matter which brand you go with, also I know that the biggest you can get is generally the best, but would a relatively mild one still do the job sufficiently? They had a couple that were rated for cars in the $20 range and they looked tempting he said. Just wondering if there is really a difference in the operation and ability of various coolers. Like does he really have to go "name brand" to get a quality unit? Or is it basically just something you can go out and get anywhere and be just fine? Thanks in advance.

I have the B&M that you mentioned, and got it for 46 buck at Ramchargers.. It was a kit with hose and fittings... I like B&M, because its not a tube that is bent zig-zag....

Plus I mounted mine on the bottom passenger side...Just cut a square in the bottom plastic panel and it fits flush.... beeen there 2 years.... I dont like putting it infront on the radiator..

I've got the B&M, but the Haydens are great too...

I only drive M6 F-bodys, but when I had my 1990 454 SS I used a B&M and loved it. That's all I'll ever use from now on if I had an auto car.
