My rear hatch button was broken, but I could still open it from the outside. Then me and my buddy were trying to fix it and I told him to pull up on the hatch a little so I could see a bit more. But he pulled to far and now the hatch wont even close. The little latch on the motor that clips on to the loop on the hatch doesn't reach over far enough, the loop just hits the latch on the top so it can't catch.

Is there a way I can adjust it? or am I gonna have to buy a whole new motor for it?

 

u should b able 2 adjust it.. take off interior panel and u should see an adjustable bolt.
