Question Rear subs amp. Where the heck is it?

I don't know exactly what kind of factory system I have whether Bose, Monsoon, etc.

I have factory subs (look to be 6 3/4 and dual voice coil)
Also have cd with equalizer, components in front door and rear hatch area, no cd changer
What does it sound like I have?

Also I was wondering where the amp for the rear subs is and can I splice in there for speaker level inputs on my sub amp so I don't have to kill the rear channel speakers? (I have the factory tweets there but removed the 4" woofers and replaced with Sony Xplod Mobile ES 6 1/2)

Thanx,
Joe

I think it's behind the spare tire. Mine was.

'97 F-Bodies that were equipped with the upgraded system actually have the Monsoon system like the '98-up models...GM just didn't call it Monsoon yet.

Check out the FAQ's in the Electronics Forum over at www.ls1.com for the information you're looking for.
