I went down to the track tonight. Not to run my car, but it was street night. And there was an '02 SS there with slp intake / exhaust, and her first run was a 15.5 and the second was a 16.4. Like, what gives here. I saw a few other SS's pull mid to high 14's.. I was like, WTF? What's the deal here, why were these guys running so slow. I'm scared to run my car now, because I'm i'm gonna pull a high 14 I'll get laughed aff the track....

Bad reaction times???? Track surface???? New drivers???

 

Wheather is a huge factor but even with it raining people can pull better then 16s lol. THe drivers probly are horrible, an LS1 is a 13.6-13.8 car with the right driver. I know a guy who pulled a 12.98 totally stock in an 02 Z.
