Really stupid question

Do they make any 2002 camaros that are NOT Z-28 or SS but come WITH the LS-1 V8 (and automatic) ??

I cant find any.. but I could have sworn they existed like this?

No, not unless the motor was swapped into a V6 car.

V8 swaps are very common in the V6 cars. Or maybe someone went through the hassle of debadging the car to make to give it a "sleeper" look.

so, what if it was a police model. Is it still called 9c1 in 2002? Is the poilice model a z28 9c1 or just 9c1?

Police model Camaros are B4C models.

The Caprice police model was the 9C1.
