Radio just Went Out?!?!?!

First off, sorry to the Mods for this second post. I wasn't getting any responses in the audio portion of this forum and that is why I am now trying this section.

Hopefully you guys or gals can help me with my problem that seems to be a big mystery.

I have a Sony Xplod cdmx600 model head unit with the Black Active Panel. Last night my radio went out like I had burned out a fuse. The Black Active Panel still opened and closed like normal, it was just that the radio was not on. This is what usually happens when a fuse burns out.

I checked all the fuses, including the one in the head unit and amps, and not one of them was burnt out. I'm confused as to how my radio is not ON. Somehow the radio still opens the Black Active Panel, and ejects CD's, but it no longer illuminates or turns on.

The radio went out as I was hearing my music moderately high. Can anyone shed some light as to what might be wrong??? Thanks.

check all your power feeds at the radio, and check for power at the fuse, don't just look at the fuse and think all is well

Thanks for that first response.

Yeah I'll go ahead and take a look at all my power feeds first then. Hopefully its that because getting to the fuse box looks like it might be a pain.

Yeah, so the it was a bad connection that kept the radio off. I guess the radio protected itself by shutting off. Anyway the radio now turns on, but now I have to figure out how to make my amps work again.
