Alright i had play in my steering so i had my friend move the steering wheel back and forth so i could see where it was coming from. He did this and i saw that the whole rack was moving back and forth so i figured it might be loose. So i get under the car and the bolt on the driver side is not tight, but it's striped. Wont tighten nor will it loosen to come out it just spins. Hoping one of you guys out there could help me out here with what to do.

 

Can't remember if you can get to the back side of the bolt, but if you can, put some pressure on it while you try to screw it out.

 

vise grips always worked for me. vise grip brand name...others dont grab for jack.....
