Racetronix fp users, I need your help!

I am in the midst of installing a fuel pump on my 94 LT1. However, Im not sure what to do at this step. The instructions state that I should take the black connector at the end of the hose from the stock fuel pump, and attach it to the hose of the racetronix pump using the hose clamp.

However, on my racetronix pump, there is already a connector attached and no hose clamp is provided. Was there an update that is not reflected in the instructions? I tried putting the new connector, which has a different design to the stock one, on to the metal pipe and it doesnt seem to be as snug as the old connector (i.e. if i grab it, I can move it up and down the pipe maybe a 1/8 - 1/4". Im not familiar with these sorts of fuel line connectors so im not sure if this is enough to cause a leak or not.

The top connector is the one from the stock pump, the one below is from the racetronix pump.

Do not change the push-lock connectors. The new pumps come with a new connector installed as yours has. Just plug it in. The new connector does not require (special) tools to lock and unlock.
