Do exhaust tips effect the sound?? If I were to Let's say, get a GMMG and put the Magnaflow or SLP round poilished tips on it.. Would' it change the tone?

I like the HUGE round chrome tips like the Magnaflow or the SLP tips.

 

I dont believe so, i have a borla catback and one night backed up onto a fairly high curb and bent my tips all up, i replaced just the tips with tips from slp they were 3 1/2 almost looking like the one in your picture there, and it sounded exactly the same, i think its more in the muffler rather then the tips that depends on the sound

 

i've found tips to make a small difference on my old 3.4L camaro. the bigger single walled tips acted as more of a trumpet to amplify the sound outside, and the double walled or more structured tips keep the exhaust tone "clean." I dont know its hard to describe.. but I saw no difference in the interior noise.
