Questions About RS

Being that you can't do a specific search on anything "RS," I have a few questions to ask. First of all, what years could you get an RS from '98-'02? (Which of those years) Also, what options are specific to an RS in any of these years?

Re: Questions About RS

RS started in 96, all it is is an appearance package on the v6s
this was for 96-97
98-02 it was called the "sport appearance package" and was available on all camaro models except for the SS

no option specific stuff to either the RS or sport appearance package

Re: Questions About RS

Hmmm...odd. My friend has a '95 that has RS right in the title. It doesn't have the factory body stuff or anything, in fact, it's pretty basic. He just so happened to be looking at the title and noticed it said RS, so he even bought the badging for it.

Also, I see 98-02's labeled as RS that don't have the factory body stuff, either.

Re: Questions About RS

SLP made some v6 models into an RS in I think 01 and 02. They put racing stripes, dual exhaust, an intake on them. I dont think they had the appearance package on them either.

Re: Questions About RS

Hmmm...that might explain some of the ones I've seen. Although none of them have had stripes

Re: Questions About RS

Good joke heh. It fits my friend's car real well. I have plans to get a 98+ 3.8L, but only because I have to for insurance reasons for the first year or two (I'm only 16). Just wanted to know about some RS stuff since my friend has one and I was going to try and look for one.
