Re: Question

depends on care, i can make a brand new car fall to pieces if i neglect it. aside from that, you will see people on this board still winning races with 175k+ miles on their car(s). some people are more harsh on their cars than others, climate factors in sometimes, unknown damage from previous owners (like my rings from too much nitrous) many cars will nicckol and dime you in the high milage range. camaro is no differant than any other car on the road

Re: Question

I sold my 94 T/A with 107K and it looked and ran like it was brand new! I sold it to my buddy, it now has 120K and its still in the same great shape. Heres a quick pic.

Re: Question

Any car that is not well taken care of can start to fall apart at 70K. As for my car, yes it has its share of problems at 94K, but then again, the car was definitely abused by its previous two sets of owners. Nothing a little TLC can't take care of, right?

Re: Question

My car has 101,000 miles and still runs great.

Like the others said, it all depends on proper maintenance.

Re: Question

70k should not be a concern for one well maintained (just like any other car).

Re: Question

My car has about 90,000 miles and seems to be happy with me since I actually change the oil (unlike the other owner). From what I hear around the dealership where I work, these cars have issues with the intake manifold seal, clutch and that @*!@$# rear window seal/channel. That and the nightmare from HELL LT1 ignition system.

Re: Question

My 85 bird had 145,000 i on it when I rebuilt the engine. AND it was neglected. The oil haddent been changed for a while...

Check a vehicle history report. All in all, 70,000 miles isn't too much if the previous owner(s) took good care of it.

My Z28 only has 32k on it.
