Quad exhaust

I didnt see a section for exhaust and since I own an LT1 this is goin here.

Im getting ready to buy exhaust, cause the stock setup just dont cut it. So far I've only decided that I want to go with center quad tips (center dual duals). http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...54&BIG=30254-1

Are there any other quad setups out there? Also, I have no clue what to buy to get that nice deep rumble, so I need help with ideas for the rest of the exhaust.

If anyone has the center quad setup please send me some pics: harrisb85@gmail.com I'm curious what the car looks like with the rear fascia and no other pieces around the body.

Re: Quad exhaust

basically, the loudmouth will soun nice until you go with headers, with headers they get nasty sounding..

trust me i know!!!! I have headers wl cats, loudmouth and a 408ci and it is by far the loudest f-body around here...seriously!!!!! nascar sounding!!!

Personally, if you want a nice quad kit and if your gonna get headers, than go to the slp site, check out ther oem stock replacement stuff for SS'z and look for there quad kit with a chambered muffler...that is wat you want. IT is not too loud and it wil sound nice a deep.

the deepest sounds you cang et are from duals and that can be connected to a quad kit. Also, the hooker, possibly my next choice, is nice a deep and can be modified to the quad tips.

As for looks, i dont have any pics now, but i can say that the kit looks a bit off, like it will look good with the rest of the side and front parts but alone, IMO, its off just a bit. That is why i recommended the oem replacement kit because those side "lips" mold better and dont look TOO aftermarket....

good luck!!
