Question Push Button Start

I was curious to know where I could purchase a push button starter switch kit. Does anyone here have one installed? If so, where could I find one?

Thanks.

Yeah I have always wanted to also. I think that autozone/pepboys has some of them, they are kind of general application though. My friend has one on their SCCA vette and it gives it much more of a race car feeling.

do you still need to use a key after that? or is all you do is push the button? - also does this work on lt1 f-bodys, im pretty sure the ignition is the same right?

defined

here it works like this. You tap into the 12v+ batt cord, then into the ingition wire. You put a relay on both and then attach the wires from that to the switch, so basically nothing really changes except the fact you dont have to turn the key, which wouldnt start the car anyway cause you cut the wire to the ignition lock. So instead of turning the key all the way down like you would to start, you just push the button and bamm, revvvv revvvvvv

Somehow you made that sound like you don't have to use the key AT ALL.............but I (hope) think you were trying to say that instead of turning the key all the way to "start", you just turn the key to "on", then press the start button? That would make sense, and also still make use of the key.
