Exclamation Problems w/ door by the lower hinge!

Well the fiberglass that the lower hinge is connected to is tearing in 2 different spots. I just picked up the car and i'm starting to fix all the problems. I see that they tried to do something with it because there are washers between the door and hinge. I'm sure that is making it worse because the hinge isn't sitting flush to the door. Their is a lot of play and the door is a little low because the fiberglass is bending and tearing. You know how you open the door and in can stay open in 2 different spots....it sorta sticks and bends the fiberglass till enough force just POPS it to the next lock so it stays open.

I do know how to fiberglass...my question is can I try to repair the door with fiberglass? Or do I need a new door?

Well, you can do one of two things...either take it to a body shop and let them fix it or take it off and give fiberglassing a go. Not all that hard, if you have half a brain. Buy the rosin and the fabric, you can buy them from O'Reillys or other part store, and follow the directions.
