Driver side window used to go up at times now i have to press the button and pull it up myself.


Same with the Passenger window.

I already bought a pair of window motors off of ebay.

But my question is. When i pull up the window on the drivers side its super hard to pull up.. Like if something was holding it.

When I pull up the window on the passenger side it feels a lot lighter. It feels like its just the weight of the window.

Could something else be wrong with the drivers side window? Or its just a different type of motor malfunction ?

Could be the motor holding it back.

 

ok Thanks shoebox, you have answered most of my questions.. I really appreciate you taking your time to help not only me but tons of people.

Ill try to replace them myself tomorrow in the morning following your guide.

Fixed.. I replaced both and they work nice.. The one the drivers side had a lot of water inside the motor..

 

Outer window seals???

 

Yeah the one on the drivers side door is loose..I am not sure if its the clip or the whole piece. Any one know where i can get a replacement?

 

My driver side window only goes up half way then stops. If I wait I can move it up an inch at a time. Its like it runs out of juice and have to wait for it to recharge or something. Now it won't roll down. Must be the motor.
