Question Issue with idling/starting the car....

Ok heres an issue I have been having on my 1996 Camaro Z28. When I start her up she starts fine, runs great no matter if I drive her slow or if im punching it at every light. I can drive for as long as I want without a problem. Now when ever I turn the car off, if I were to start it again within a couple hours of being off the car will start and then the idleing will be completely off. Jumping from low rpms to high rpms and usually will stall a time or two. The only solution I have to this is keep punching the gas (which will barely do anything) in an attempt to keep the rpms up. After figeting like this for a couple minutes the car normally is back to driving normal. I don’t get this problem. Like I can drive, then turn it off and have it sit for 3 + hours and if I start it its fine then, its only when I turn it off and try and start it within 2-3 hours that I have this problem. Ive heard mutliple ideas but no one is complelty sure what the problem is. Wondering if anyone here has run into the same problem, and how to test/fix it. Thank you all in advance!

Have you checked for leaking injectors? Does it start easier and stumble less if you put the accel pedal on the floor (clear flood mode) when you start it?

i am planning on checking/replacing injectors this weekend if i need to and have time aside to do so. This clear flood mode, do you mean hold the pedal to the floor while starting it? and see what it does?
