Power Steering pumps on LS1s... Quick ?

Power Steering pumps on LS1s... Quick ?
First: I have heard these are something that goes out on these cars and noticed mine seemed to be "sweating" a bit. I did tighten the cap just a slight turn. Maybe 1/4"
So the question is:
Is this normal, or something that needs to be looked at possibly and fixed?
