I did a search of this swap and found all of the info I need except one thing, are the k-members the same for a HT and Convertible?

The reason I ask is that I am getting ready to put my 383 in my SS and I have a buddy who wants to get my LT1 and put it in his 95 convertible, and I read where he has to get the v8 k-member and I want to know if mine will fit. If so I'll sell him that as well and get the bmr k-member for myself, thanks in advance for any help.
