I believe the power hatch in my 86 is broken. Once you get it close, the motor should turn on and pull it down right? Right now I can just lift it up without touching anything and it doesnt stay up because the struts may be broken also.

Ya I took the panel off and discovered a mouse had gotten to the wiring when he was trying to pull that stuffing out. So now I got to try and redo that wiring.
