pondering thoughts

hello all i have been thinking about selling my beloved 1994 z28, and getting a 2001 or 2002 z06, i never drive my z28. it just sits in my garage all zainoed. i have put 10 miles on it the last year. i hate to sell this car it is in pristine condition plenty of mods, made great hp, just can't see getting rid of it for the low prices lt1's are selling for. what do i do. 2001,2002 z06? new z28 in 2009??? keep 1994 z28 maybe supercharge or stroke it?what do you guys do when you love your car but get kinda bored??? sorry so long just need to vent.

Re: pondering thoughts

put it up for sale, since you aren't in desparate need to sell it, you can hold off for a good offer on it.

advertise nationaly

if it sells...move on to the next project. if not...keep it and start planning for some more mods to it.

Re: pondering thoughts

even if you are keeping it, toss a for sale sign in the window, see if some will offer a extravagant amount(worth a try)

hell, I sold a rusted out lincoln I paid $100 for to a guy that walked up to me at Murrays(auto parts store) and offered me $2k, needless to say, it was gone that week

I know what you mean. I just got "reacquanited" with my 95 after a 2 year hiatus. Tried selling it after this past Christmas after literally getting the cob webs out of the exhaust/wasp nests out of the fender/dead battery/flat tire and a bunch of other neglected stuff taken care of. No one offered above $6000 for the car (which I almost took). And after 11 years of pampering this car, about $4500 in various mods, 65,076 miles, garage kept for the last 5 years(now taken over by the wifes BMW) I sure as hell wasnt going to trade it in for a remodeled kitchen. I mean what the hell is 6 grand going to do for me, I spend that a year on smokes and brewskies.

Dude, keep it, your going to get peanuts for it unless like one of the other guys said, someone just comes out and makes you a crazy offer. Peace!!!
