in the sig. i actually have no clue what it is to spin a bearing, so wouldnt know if i did. so far, so good. 417rwhp best 11.87@118 on stock tc, tranny, rear (except gears) and lower end.

I didn't spin one after my swap. Keep in mind that my cam gear had come loose and sent a lot of metal shavings through the motor. I found this out when i was doing the cam swap. So i just installed the new cam and it ran great for 6 months. I just pulled the motor to fresh it up from the cam gear carnage but it was still living after all that.

I did heads and cam 2 years ago (10K miles since). First time I ever took apart an engine. Engine had 60K on it already.

Over 40 years of hot rodding, on mine and my friends cars and have never had this problem after doing bolt-ons. In fact the only time I've had this happen was after a complete engine rebuild. Don't know exactly how many times, certainly over twenty, but can say that many of the cars were high mileage.
