polished fuel rails

I cleaned up the engine bay today . I want to clean it up more but this is a good start. I polished the fuel rails, cleaned the valve covers and cleaned the dirty rubber intake elbow. Let me know what you think. I would also like to polish the top of the intake manifold, if anyone has done it or knows how I would appreciate it if you gave me some pointers or instructions drop me a PM. I tried using the mothers polish but it didnt work to well. I guess I'll have to do it the long way with the sanding and stuff. anyways, let me know what you think and thanks for the help in advance.

BEFORE

AFTER some cleaning

cleaned intake elbow

shiney black valve cover

not finished cleanin just yet , I'm going to buy an aluminum intake elbow (vortech or trick-flow) and a K&N or moroso CAI.

thanx

Not bad ay all. Just keep going back, and clean small sections at a time and it will look good.

You're going to have to sand the machine marks off the fins of the intake. Start out with 400 grit, then 600. After that you can take a buffing wheel (a drill setup works fine) and buff the hell out of it with red and white rouge bars.

There is no free lunch or shortcuts with polishing. It takes time, patience, and perseverence. Good luck.
