Please Help - Electrical Problem

Last week I went to start my car. I put the key in and all lights come on. I turn key to start and everything goes dead. No noises or lights or anything.

I turn key off and back to on. No lights for a few seconds, then all lights come on and voltage gauge moves up some. I try to start again and nothing.

I try a few days later (I have another car and was busy) and figure I will jump it, but I try to start it and it started up and has started everytime since.

Every once in a while I notice all lights (headlights and interior) will blink off then back on while I am driving.

Also, my seatbelt light flashes randomly. And my keyfob stopped working, even with a new battery.

Any ideas? Any help with what my problem may be would be a help.

Thanks.

Have you checked battery connections?

Im no pro, but it could be your VATS system. The little chip on the key transmits a signal inside the key hole. I bypassed the VATS with a resistor in my last car.
