Okay I have a weird issue if anyone else has experienced this. If I try to put passenger window down with driver side switch it acts like a short, going up is fine. When I use the passenger switch it’s fine and functions normally up and down.

yes, when I use the switch on driver side to put passenger window down I can hear a click and the radio will cut out and the the battery voltmeter will drop. I’m thinking express down module or relay?

The express down module/relay is only connected to the driver's window.

There is the possibility that someone has added an aftermarket express down module. There is also an aftermarket wiring kit that improves the wiring between the driver’s side controls and the passenger side window. Either of those could have gone bad, if installed.

Check against the wiring diagram. Note that the one I linked indicates 95 F-Body. That would indiate it is applicable to the Camaro and Firebird. However, the switch connector pinouts may be different. This (also from Shoebox) states it is a Camaro configuration, suggesting the Firebird connector may be different.

thanks guys for the help, I’ll get out there in the coming days to do some testing. I’m not sure it’s the switch because I had this issue prior and bought brand new and it still existed. I’ve owned the car since 05 and trying to sort out some issues before selling .
