Old fuel
Old fuel
Ok, now that my car is almost done(9 months later...stupid work getting in the way) I need to know what to do with the old fuel that was in it. How can I dispose of old fuel, without fire???

Re: Old fuel
It'll be fine. I brought my car out this April and it has been sitting since Oct last year with a full tank. I burned the tank off and filled up with new stuff.
Just don't go tearing it up on the streets with the old fuel, go for a drive or something to burn off the old gas.
I did a check with my scanner and while I was driving the car with old fuel I would get some knock retard but after I filled up with fresh gas the retard was gone so the worst that will happen is you'll get some knock retard if you hammer the car with old gas.

Re: Old fuel
My old firebird sat for six months and when I got it running I used the same fuel that was in the tank without a problem. I doubt nine months would hurt anything but thats pushing it. Just siphon it out and use it in a lawn mower or something..no need to waste it.
