after the car has been warmed up 15-30min and I turn the air conditioner from max to norm or just to vent (air off) there is a slight hot oil smell coming from the vents- checked for oil leaks and the only one I found was a little seepage fron the back of the intake, not even wet. Could there be a vacum line behind the dash thats cracked a bit? car runs perfect otherwise. Thanx

 

The cowl between the hood and the windshield is where air for the HVAC system pulls in air. When you have it set on Max, a vent door opens up under the dash that recirculates the already cool air inside the passenger compartment. That's to help the AC work better because it doesn't have to cool humid hot air that way. Anything that's burning in front of the car will get sucked in with the air comming into the car. You need to fix the oil leaks.
