I gotta a 95 z and lately the passinger side window has been doing some pretty wierd stuff it will start to go up then just quit working. i have to wait a couple mins then i can get it to go up like another couple inches and i have to wait again. so, i thought the motor might be bad and i pulled a working one off another car plugged it in and it did the same stop and go action too i was wondering if anybody would no where my problem lays

look into that thread, sounds like that may be you problem

 

Your power window motor is about to go out.

 

Or your switch is about done.

 

Or the regulator is sticking/binding/broken/needs lubrication.

 

My motor went out on me today.... 3rd one in 2yrs... It was doing the same thing you explained... Fixing it tomorrow.

 

well thats what i thought but i followed the first guys advise and bought the window fix kit and it really did work my passenger side window is almost twice as fast as my drivers side now
it is pretty sweet and a nice cheep fix compared to replacing the motor.
