No Power When I Get on the Accelerator?!?!?!
No Power When I Get on the Accelerator?!?!?!
ok well i have new taylor ovc's on, with fire sleeving, and a new coil and my rpms will move down and up a lil bit when idling, but wen im cruising and in 2nd gear on up to 6th, whenever i get on it and slam the accelerator, the car doesnt move or haul a$$ like it should...also, wen i come to a stop and let it idle it drops a little lower than normal sometimes...any ideas??
Re: No Power When I Get on the Accelerator?!?!?!
yeah plugs/wires and connections and coil are brand new and connected perfect...i had a feeling it might have sumthing to do with fuel pressure as well..now heres a pic of a line (i think a fuel line) that my ******* father snapped when messing with my car..and the two broken ends are just connected together by a soft rubber hose...

is it maybe not holdin enough pressure???

Re: No Power When I Get on the Accelerator?!?!?!
That's the line that goes back to charcoal canister. Only fuel vapor is in that line so I don't think that's your issue. Double check that all the spark plugs boots are snapped properly over the plugs. What shape are your spark plugs in and what brand?
Re: No Power When I Get on the Accelerator?!?!?!
brand new spark plugs gapped at .050 and they are NGK TR-55's...everything is connected correctly...to me it seems like a vaccuum issue...but i duno where to start..
Re: No Power When I Get on the Accelerator?!?!?!
ok i took the car out and after about a mile of driving the SES light came on so i took it back home and the code read "cylinder 6 misfire"...so theres my problem...not vaccuum or fuel...
