no power from cruise control switch

Mech says power is going to it, but no power is coming from the cruise control switch. So I bought a new one, but cruise still isnt working.

What ive verified:

3rd brake bulbs are good
Brake switch is snug and in good condition
Cruise control module is brand new
Cruise control / turn switch is brand new

Any ideas?

Re: no power from cruise control switch

The cruise portion of the multi-function lever gets power from fuse #12 in the underhood box. Do you have 12V at the pink wire to the multi-function lever (pin M in connector C215)?

The mutli-function lever has three output wires in connector C215:

Pin L - Gray wire, turns system on/off, to pin A on cruise module

Pin K - Dark Blue Wire, set/coast, to pin B on cruise module

Pin J - Gray/Black Wire, resume/accel, to pin C on cruise module

When you move the slide switch from off to on, you should see 12V on the gray wire. You will only see 12V on the other 2 wires when using the momentary contact feature for set/coast or resume/accel.

Just a thought. But in front of the computer is a vacuum connection or tee and my cruise control did not work because I had a vacuum leak there. A couple hard lines connect to this.

Did you change the tail lights to LED's?
The cruise won't work with LED's. I know there's a fix for that, but I'm not really sure how to do it.

Seems odd that the HVAC vacuum check valve would have anything to do with the cruise control.
