Name of Tool and where to get it?

It's the wire removal tool (best way I know how to describe it) you use it to remove wires from a harness. It's a hollow tube that releases the barb allowing you to pull out the wire. The one's I have are too large and I am trying to find the tool I need. I'm removing all the sensors and connectors I don't need/use.

Anybody got the proper name and better yet who makes one or even a part #?

I've been to O'reily Auto zone and advance and they all look at me like I'm crazy.

There is also a pick tool available in addition to the "hollow tube" tool, it just depends on the particular connector that you are working on.

Here is a link to one tool kit that is available. I bought this kit and was impressed with the quality of the tools (except for the multi meter)..

Also Snap-On, Mac, OTC also have these types of tools but be prepared to PAY for them.

I don't know if they have a more technical name but its called a 'depin tool'. Most connectors come with a plastic pin/depin tool and there are different types depending on how the pin stays in place. It'd probably be easier to find the right tool if you know the part number of the connector.

You might try an electronics supply store or even a hobby shop that sells small brass tubing for hobby construction.
