Mystery Part....

Well was under the rear of the car working on the brakes and saw this hose thing hanging down.

It's the hose with the white plastic around the bottom of it.

I dont have an answer for you but wanted to know myself. I broke mine on my 96 camaro. It sits on a bracket near the middle of the rear spring on the drivers side.

Looks like some kind of vent/filter to me - maybe part of the EVAP system?

Its actually the Canster vent filter



Not 100% on it's function but it is suppose to hook to that bracket. (Relay and ground wire not there on stock car)

Finally figured it out.
