Where is the window relay?

Where is the power window relay for the driver side on a 96 Formula? I can hear in the dash, but couldnt find it going up through the bottom. Is it way up behind the cluster or something?

What you might be hearing is the express down module. If you can hear that and the window is not working, it is usually because the window motor is bad.

It works fine most of the time. Sometimes you let it down and it wont come back up, then out of the blue it willl start working fine again.

sounds more like a window motor starting to go, I've had them do that before and it finally gave out. the express down module that shoebox mentioned is kind of burried in all of the wiring to the right of the stearing column under the dash, if it's still clicking and making a weird noise then it's still good. I also made the mistake of replacing it and the window seemed to work better for awhile and then the motor died.

Fairly typical symptoms of a dying window motor. You can find replacement instructions on my Tech Page.
