My 94 z28 hit a bump while launching off the line now my trans won't shift
Since I bought it but my z28 has been great .it is an LT1 with LS1 polished and ported heads ,303 cam ,msd distributor and new auto trans with shift kit. The trans had about 700 miles on it when I got the car. Then I launched across some train tracks which gave it a good jolt An Now it won't shift unless you put it in low and manually shift it then it shifts straight to drive .and the check engine engine light comes on.after that it will shift but not like it shifted before and not like it has a shift kit. And it seems to bypass 2nd

"Car Audio......" is definitely the wrong forum. Let's move this to "General 67-02..... Tech".
You will need to clarify your post, because there is absolutely no way you can bolt LS1 heads on an LT1 block.
You also need to scan it for codes, because that may point to the problem that is preventing it from shifting.
