MuscleFlow Cat-Back?

I didn't see any exhaust forum, so here goes...I was reading up on different kinds of cat-backs, and I found the MuscleFlow, reading the description, it sounds just like what I want, rumble at idle and near-stock cruising, I was just wondering if any of you have it? How does it sound on your cars?

Why would you want a near stock catback? You dont get enough power from it to justify doing just for that. If you dont change the sound its not worth it.

I want a good sounding exhaust, not a loud one. I have a convertible, that's why I don't want the cruising sound to be obnoxious. I like a good louder rumble at idle and a tame cruising sound, what would you recommend for that?

magnaflow

almost all exhaust systems are tame at cruising as long as you retain the cats.

Re: MuscleFlow Cat-Back?

I have a Magnaflow, I like it. At idle it's a little bit louder than stock and it wakes up after 1500 RPM. Not too loud but enough so you can hear it pretty well. Crusiing around 1800RPM you have the nice deep sound without the drone. Overall it's not a bad deal. I got mine off ebay for 289 shipped. But I would either go with hooker or Magnaflow, both are very good systems.

What price range are you trying to stay in ? If you want best value for the $$ then you can't beat Hooker. If you are going to buy whatever to meet you're needs then I would say GMMG or Corssa. They are stainless and flow and sound very good. I think these cat backs would be exactly what you're looking for.
