Post Magnaflow Cat-Back System?

Hey,

I've got a 2002 SS.

Any opinions on Magnaflow's Cat-Back system? Is it good? Does it look and sound good?

It also said something about a single/dual muffler - wtf are they talking about?

Any expectations on cost?

Any ideas if I'll get any of that ugly 'gurgling' when the RPMS are lowering and such with it?

Thanks!

I love mine. Looks good, sounds awesome. Nice and deep. But will roar when under WOT. No rasp or drone whatsover, sounds stock cruising. Thumbs up! Got mine for $390 shipped from Husker Performance.

A lot of guys on the LS1.com board run it and love it. Here's a thread about it with a pretty good video/sound clip (it take a while to load though).

It's a great system that is really just starting to be discovered. I've had mine on for over a year now, and couldn't be more pleased with the whole package ( quality, sound, fit, appearance, and price). The tips tuck up in really nice and the polishing looks great. Oh, and it sounds great too, especially since I installed the headers. Go for it!

I've had mine on for almost three years. Looks good and sounds good, at low to mid-rpms it's just a bit louder than stock and won't annoy the neighbors, and at WOT it really screams. I have to wear the ear-muff things when I'm dynoing it and standing beside it. I probably paid way too much for it, but I'm up here in Toronto Canada, I think it was about $700US installed. I do get the odd backfire, and it does gurgle a little during compression braking, but I think that sounds cool! I don't know and would like to know if it is a true dual or not and what that even means (the way drivers here go on about true dual exhaust it sounds more desirable). Does it mean from each pipe you can hear both banks of cylinders as opposed to non true dual where you only hear one bank?

Thumbs up

It is a great looking and even better sounding system. I got rid on my Corsa for it!
