Hi guys I’m new here and hopefully posting in the right place. I just picked up a 94z28 roller and have Lt1 350 to go in it. The frame mountain the car are two different styles driver side is bracket style passenger is clamshell. Is this normal?? I got a set of engine mounts for the motor and passenger side is a clamshell type mount??? Should both sides in the frame be bracket type??

Re: Motor mount confusion
Quote: I have someone put the car in reverse stepping on the brake and watch the engine how it shifts then go to drive give it gas you will see the engine pick up tremendously always keep your foot on the brake your other foot you feed it gas.

I don't think he was in need of learning how to determine if he needed to replace the mount. He was asking us to verify that the left and right side mounts were different designs.
