mass air

i keep getting a code for the MAF sensor. i had it on and off for about a week after my TB and intake install. when i finally got it scanned i went and bought a new one at the parts store. everything was fine for another week and now the light came back on. the scan says it is for the MAF again. is the stock one no good with the SLP intake and TB or what. would an aftermarket one correct the problem.

Re: mass air

Your TB and SLP CAI won't effect the MAF. Were the MAF's wires/connections damaged during the install of the TB or CAI?

Re: mass air

What is the exact code you are getting? There is more than one code for the MAF, and one of them can be from faulty wiring.
