Manual Fan switch and DTC 77

Just installed Speed Specialties' manual fan switch on my 94Z. Well, I followed the directions exactly and even checked Shoebox's website for the schematics and everything seems to be put together correctly; however, my scanmaster is picking up a DTC 77 (Cooling fan relay control circuit). The fans come on when I toggle the switch, but I can't seem to get rid of the trouble code. Any ideas? Thanks.

Clear the code and check your wiring again. If the code comes back, it almost has to be something that is not right (either in your wiring or their switch).

Re: Manual Fan switch and DTC 77

Just wanted to close this one out. Shoebox was right on...after I cleared the code everything was fine. By the way, I had tried repeatedly to get Speed Specialty to address this issue, along with the fact the one of the lights are defective, but never got a response. Not very good customer service IMHO....

That's why I went with the Caspers setup. Something about the SS version scared me.
