Exclamation LT1 to LS1 Swap

Seriously guys, what is so difficult in putting an ls1 into an lt1 car??? I did a search and everyone says it isn't worth it, sell the car and buy an ls1 car. I can get a great deal on an ls1 right now and i need to know what exactly I am getting myself into. Anybody done the swap, please help... 97 is the year of my z28....

Thanks for the help!

You will practically need an entire parts car. I'm in the planning stages myself and the only reason I'm doing it is because I got a 02 Firebird with 25k on it for $2500.

Why don't I just drive the Firebird? It looks like this:

Even having most of the car, I still need a fuel tank. If all you have is the engine and harness, I wouldn't do it.

psssh, a gallon of bondo and that firebird will be mint.. Never knew it was wrecked.

Sorry that I dont have a whole lot to add, but it really does look like a pain in the **** to pull off. Ive been doing some light research in to it.
