lt1 high beam switch

lt1 high beam switch

ok i'v been doing alot of work on my camaro and now im down to the last thing befor i have to register it, and that is my high beam switch. ok i know where the switch is and the rod is in place but up at the handle the rod does not seem to be connected. i was wondering how in the hell do you get to these parts and am i correct on what i think is wrong throw me some idea's.

unhook battery, remove the lower cover, column to dash nuts and lower your column down where you can see everything. ( you may also want to pull the bolts at the base of the column) You may be able to loosen the dimmer switch and stab the little rod back in the signal lever then realign your dimmer and tighten the screws back down. Might have just come loose and the rod coulda just fell out of the lever. Worst case, you may have to pull the wheel, sir coil, lock plate, etc and get in there and see whats goin on. The slot/hole on the lever could be broke or the rod could be bent/broke. Hope you get it fixed.
